Associated ridge extending eastwards to Portugal. An eastern Atlantic tropical wave is analysed along 24W south of 19N, moving west at 10-15 kt. This wave is associated with a 1010 low pres near 16N26W, moving westward and filling gradually. The monsoon trough enters the Atlantic near 22N17W and dives southwestward to 09N40W.
