16S169E. Forecast trough [1] 06S142E to low [1] 1007hPa near 11S156E to low [2]

1006hPa near 16S171E at 100000UTC.



Trough [2] near 22S167E 25S169E, forecast near stationary.



Part 3 Forecast

South of trough [1]:

Southeasterly quarter winds turning clockwise with 180nm of lows. Wind speeds

15/25 knots, increasing to 20 to 30 knots west of line 10S144E 14S156E 25S164E.

Moderate to rough seas. Low to moderate swell.



Remainder:

Winds not exceeding 20 knots. Slight to moderate seas. Low swell, increasing to

low to moderate south of line 12S168E 12S170E.



Rain areas, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly within 420nm of

trough [1], within 180nm of lows and trough [2], and north of line 06S142E

06S160E. Heavy at times within 120nm of line 12S151E 09S142E, and in

southeastern semicircle of low [2]. Visibility reducing below 2nm in

precipitation.
