Winds not exceeding 20 knots. Slight to moderate seas. Low to moderate swell.



Remainder, outside of warning area:

Southeasterly quarter winds, shifting westerly quarter north of 08S, and

turning clockwise within 360nm of Severe Tropical Cyclone "Maila". Wind speeds

15/25 knots, increasing to 25/33 knots within 360nm of Severe Tropical Cyclone

"Maila". Moderate to rough seas, increasing to very rough within 360nm of

Severe Tropical Cyclone "Maila". Low to moderate swell, increasing to heavy

swell within 240nm of Severe Tropical Cyclone "Maila".



Rain areas, scattered showers, and isolated thunderstorms throughout area.

Heavy at times within 300nm of Tropical Cyclone "Maila". Visibility reducing

below 2nm in precipitation.
