Southeasterly quarter winds 15/25 knots, increasing to 30 knots within 180nm of

line 03S153E 17S170E and within Vitiaz Strait, turning clockwise within 180nm

of low. Moderate to rough seas. Low to moderate swell.



North of line 25S161E 21S162E 20S170E:

Southeasterly quarter winds 15/25 knots. Moderate to rough seas. Low to

moderate swell.



Remainder:

Winds not exceeding 20 knots. Slight to moderate seas. Low to moderate swell,

decreasing to low north of line EQ153E 02S145E 09S142E.



Rain areas, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly north of line

10S143E 12S162E 19S170E and west of line 25S157E 17S148E, heavy at times within

120nm of trough. Visibility reducing below 2nm in precipitation.
