261200UTC, then decaying thereafter.



Trough [1] near 12S112E 19S121E. Forecast near 12S113E 18S122E at 270000UTC.



Trough [2] near 27S089E 50S093E. Forecast near 23S090E 35S098E 43S098E 50S102E

at 270000UTC.



Trough [3] near 36S081E 25S066E. Forecast near 26S085E 38S093E 50S097E at

261200UTC, then merging with trough [2] by 261800UTC.



Ridge forecast near 42S075E 50S088E at 261200UTC, then near 38S079E 50S101E at

270000UTC.

Clockwise winds within 900nm of low, shifting northerly quarter within 480nm

east of trough [2], shifting northwesterly quarter within 480nm of trough [3],

shifting southwesterly quarter within 780nm west of trough [3] and turning

westerly quarter west of ridge. Wind speeds 25/33 knots. Rough to very rough

seas. Moderate to heavy swell.



East of line 15S118E 20S118E:

Westerly quarter winds 20/30 knots developing after 260300UTC. Rough seas. Low

swell.



Remainder:

Winds not exceeding 25 knots. Slight to moderate seas. Low to moderate swell,

increasing up to heavy swell south of line 26S120E 26S107E 43S103E.



Rain areas, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly within 180nm of

cold front and troughs, and within 480nm of low. Heavy at times within 120nm of

trough [1]. Visibility reducing below 2nm in precipitation.
