CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15, reaching 20 to 25 north of Mowe Bay, but

           variable 05 to 10 south of Henties Bay.

VIS      : Good, becoming very poor in fog from this evening.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m, with S to SW swell.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 15 to 25, but variable 05 to 10 north of Luderitz. It

           will become NW to N 05 to 15 north of Luderitz by mid-period,

           spreading southwards to Orange River by the end of the period.

VIS      : Good, becoming very poor in fog north of Fischersbrunn from

           this evening.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : SE to E 10 to 20 reaching 25 south of Table Bay. It will

           become NW 05 to 15 north of Port Nolloth by the end of the

           period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with S to SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : E to NE 15 to 25.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain east of Port Alfred.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, mainly S to SW swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : S to SW 10 to 20, but SE 10 to 20 south of Durban until mid-

           period, while becoming N to NE 10 to 20 south of Port St

           Johns, spreading to Port Shepstone towards the end of the

           period.

VIS      : Moderate in showers and rain in places.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, subsiding to 2.0 to 2.5m from mid-period, with S

           to SW swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : SE 05 to 15, but S to SW 10 to 20 in the southern half,

           reaching 30 in the south-west.

VIS      : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in

           the northern and central parts.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m in the south towards mid-period, with S to SW

           swell.
