1. Heavy swell in excess of 4m is expected between Cape Point and East

   London, subsiding west of Mossel Bay towards mid-period as well as East

   London from mid-period.



2. Moderate visibility is expected in showers and rain in places between

   Richards Bay and Maputo in the morning, as well as Saldanha and Cape

   Agulhas from mid-period, and in the northern and southern parts of the

   Mozambique Channel.

WIND     : Variable 05 to 10 in the north at first, otherwise S to SE 10 to

           20.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with S to SW swell.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 15 to 25.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : Variable 05 between Hondeklip Bay and Table Bay, but W to NW 10

           to 20 south of Table Bay, spreading to Saldanha from mid-period

           otherwise, S to SE 05 to 15.

VIS      : Good, becoming moderate in showers and rain in places south of

           Saldanha from mid-period.

SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.0m, reaching 4.5m south of Cape Point at first, with SW

           swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND   : N to NW 05 to 15, becoming W to SW 10 to 20 west of Cape St

           Francis from mid-period, spreading to East London towards the end

           of the period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 4.0 to 5.0m, subsiding to 3.0 to 3.5m west of Mossel Bay towards

           mid-period as well as East London from mid-period, with SW swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : S to SW 05 to 15 south of Richards Bay at first, becoming

           variable 05 to 10 by the morning, otherwise N to NE 10 to 20.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain north of Richards Bay in

           the morning.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5 to 4.0m south of Coffee Bay, with SW

           swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : N to NE 05 to 15 in the south-west, otherwise S to SE 05 to 15,

           reaching 20 in the north and north-east.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in places in the north and

           south.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south, with SW swell.
