A gale force W to SW wind 35 knots is expected between Mossel Bay and Algoa Bay by mid-period, spreading to East London from the afternoon until early evening. 3. Very poor visibility is expected in fog in places between Cunene River and Walvis Bay during the first half of the period, as well as Oyster Bay and Cannon Rocks in the morning. 4. Moderate visibility is expected in rain and showers in places in the west and north of the Mozambique Channel, as well as between Hondeklip Bay and Cape Agulhas until mid-period, spreading to Still Bay from the morning and George from mid-period as well as Port Shepstone by the end of the period. 5. Very rough seas with wave heights from 4.0 to 5.5m are expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape Agulhas, spreading to Still Bay from the morning, as well as Hondeklip Bay and Cape St Francis from mid-period, while reaching East London by the end of the period. WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER: WIND : S to SE 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 in places between Fischersbrunn and Luderitz from mid-period, spreading to Orange River by the end of the period. VIS : Good. SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5m south of Luderitz towards the end of the period, with S to SW swell. ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS: WIND : W to NW 05 to 15, reaching 20 to 30 south of Lamberts Bay, but 35 south of Cape Point at first, becoming SW 15 to 25 south of Cape Columbine towards mid-period, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20. VIS : Good, but moderate in showers and rain south of Hondeklip Bay until mid-period. SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m reaching 4.5 to 5.5m south of Saldanha Bay, spreading to Hondeklip Bay from mid-period, with SW swell. CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON: WIND : W to SW 15 to 25, reaching 30 to 35 between Mossel Bay and Algoa Bay by mid-period, spreading to East London from the afternoon until early evening. VIS : Very poor in fog between Oyster Bay and Cannon Rocks in the morning, but moderate in showers and rain west of Still Bay from the morning, spreading to George from mid-period and East London in the evening, otherwise good. SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 4.5 to 5.5m west of Still Bay from the morning, spreading to Cape St Francis from mid-period, as well as East London by the end of the period, with SW swell. EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO: WIND : N to NE 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 between Mtunzini and Kosi Bay until the evening, becoming W to SW 15 to 25 south of Coffee Bay from the morning, spreading to Richards Bay by the end of the period whilst reaching 30 south of Coffee Bay from the afternoon. VIS : Good, becoming moderate in showers and rain south of Port Shepstone by the end of the period. SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5 to 4.0m south of Coffee Bay by the end of the period, with S to SW.
