   Edward at first.



2. Moderate visibility in showers and rain is expected between Algoa Bay and

   Port Shepstone spreading to Maputo in the second half of the period as

   well as in the western and northern parts of the Mozambique Channel.



3. Very poor visibility in fog is expected between Cunene River and Luderitz

   towards the end of the period.

CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15 reaching 20 north of Mowe Bay at first and again

           towards the end of the period.

VIS      : Good, but very poor in fog towards the end of the period.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, with S to SW swell.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15 becoming N to NW 05 to 10 by the end of the

           period.

VIS      : Good, but very poor in fog north of Luderitz towards the end of

           the period.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m, reaching 4.0m in the first half of the period, with

           S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : E to SE 10 to 20.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, with SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : SE 05 to 15 east of Port Alfred at first, otherwise E to NE 10 to

           20 reaching 25 to 30 east of Algoa Bay from mid-period.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain east of Algoa Bay until

           mid-period.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m reaching 4.5 to 5.0m at first, with SW swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : SE to E 10 to 20 reaching 25 north of Richards Bay until mid-

           period, becoming NE 10 to 20 south of Durban from mid-period

           reaching 25 to 30 south of Port St Johns towards the end of the

           period.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and thundershowers south of Port

           Shepstone spreading to Maputo in the second half of the period.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, reaching 4.0 to 5.0m south of Port Edward at first,

           with S to SW swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20 reaching 25 in the south-east from mid-period.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in rain and showers in the west and north.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south towards the end of the period, with S to

           SW swell.
