WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20, reaching 25 in places towards mid-period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m, with S to SW swell.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 15 to 25, reaching 30 between Fischersbrunn and Luderitz

           until towards mid-period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5m south of Fischersbrunn until mid-

           period, with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : SE 10 to 20 reaching 25 north of Lamberts Bay, but variable 05 to

           10 south of Yzerfontein, where it will become W to SW 05 to 15

           from mid-period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, with S to SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : Variable 05 to 10, but NE 10 to 20 east of Algoa Bay. It will

           become E to SE 05 to 15 west of Algoa Bay towards mid-period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m reaching 3.5m west of Algoa Bay, with S to SW swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 north of Richards Bay. It

           will become E to NE 15 to 25 south of Margate from mid-period,

           spreading to Richards Bay by the end of the period.

VIS      : Moderate in showers and thundershowers, but good south of Port St

           Johns.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5m in places, with S to SW swell but with

           E to NE swell north of Cape St Lucia.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : Variable 05 to 10 in the north, otherwise SE to E 05 to 15

           reaching 20 to 25 in the extreme south-west, drifting to the

           south-east towards the end of the period.

VIS      : Moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in places,

           becoming good from the south towards the end of the period.
