1. A gale force E to NE wind of 35 to 40 knots is expected in places

   between Coffee Bay and Richards Bay in the first half of the period.



2. Moderate to poor visibility in showers and thundershowers is expected

   in the northern and central parts of the Mozambique channel but

   between Port Shepstone and Coffee Bay from the evening.



3. Poor visibility in mist is expected between Luderitz and Alexander Bay

   from Tuesday morning as well as between Cape Columbine and Lamberts

   Bay spreading to Alexander Bay and Table Bay towards the end of the

   period.

CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.0m, with S to SW swell.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SW 10 to 20 but SE 15 to 25 south of Luderitz .

VIS      : Good, but poor in mist south of Luderitz from Tuesday morning.

SEA STATE: 2.5m, with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : W to SW 10 to 20 south of Lamberts Bay, otherwise S to SE 10

           to 20, becoming variable 05 to 10 between Cape Columbine and

           Cape Point from mid-period.

VIS      : Good, but poor in mist between Cape Columbine and Lamberts Bay

           from tomorrow morning spreading to Aleander Bay and Table Bay

           towards the end of the period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m, with S to SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : E to NE 20 to 30 east of Port Alfed at first, otherwise

           W to SW 10 to 20, spreading to East London by evening.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with SW swell, with E to NE swell east of

           Algoa Bay at first becoming SW 2.0 to 3.0 towards the second

           half of the period.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : E to NE 20 to 30 reaching 35 to 40 in places between Coffee

           Bay and Richards Bay in the first half of the period. It will

           become SW 10 to 20 south of Coffee Bay towards the mid-period

           spreading to Durban by the end of the period.

VIS      : Good, becoming moderate in showers and thundershowers south of

           Port Shepstone towards mid-period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5 south of Durban

           at first with E to NE swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : NW 10 to 20 in the north, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20

           reaching 25 to 30 in the south-east at first.

VIS      : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in

           the northern and central parts.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.0m in the south subsiding to 2.0 to 2.5 toward end of

           the period, with S to SE swell.
