2. Heavy swell of 4.0 to 4.5m is expected between Saldanha Bay and Cape

   Agulhas at first.



3. A gale force NE wind of 35 knots is expected between East London and

   Coffee Bay from late Thursday afternoon.



4. Moderate visibility in showers and thundershowers is expected in

   places over the northern parts of the Mozambique Channel, as well as

   between East London and Maputo.



5. Moderate visibility in showers and rain is expected between Algoa Bay and

   East London.

CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 north of Mowe Bay.

VIS      : Good, but very poor in fog south of Mowe Bay until mid-period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m, reaching 3.0m south of Henties Bay by mid-period,

           spreading to Cunene River towards the end of the period, with S

           to SW swell.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 in places south of

           Fischersbrunn at first.

VIS      : Good, but very poor in fog north of Fischersbrunn until mid-

           period.

SEA STATE: 3.5 to 4.0m, subsiding to 3.0m towards the end of the period,

           with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15 reaching 20 to 25 north of Hondeklip Bay, but

           variable 05 to 10 south of Cape Columbine, where it will become W

           to NW 05 to 15 towards the end of the period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m reaching 4.5m south of Saldanha Bay at first, with SW

           swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : Variable 05 to 10, becoming E to NE 10 to 20 towards mid-period,

           reaching 25 to 30 east of Algoa Bay towards the end of the

           period.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain between Algoa Bay and East

           London.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 4.5m in the Agulhas area at first, with SW

           swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : N to NE 05 to 15 north of Cape Vidal at first, otherwise S to SE

           10 to 20 reaching 25 in places. It will become NE 15 to 25 south

           of Port St Johns from Thursday afternoon, spreading to Maputo by

           late afternoon, while reaching 30 to 35 between East London and

           Coffee Bay.

VIS      : Moderate in showers and thundershowers in places.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, with S to SE swell but with NE swell north of Cape

           Vidal.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : NE to E 05 to 15 in the south-west, otherwise S to SE 05 to 15,

           reaching 20 to 25 in the south-east.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and thundershowers in places in the

           northern parts.
