1. Very poor visibility in fog is expected between Tora Bay and Luderitz

   at first and again in the second half of the period spreading to

   Alexander Bay by the end of the period.



2. Moderate visibility in showers and thundershowers are expected between

   Margate and Maputo until mid-period, and over the south-west and northern

   parts of the Mozambique channel.



3. Very rough seas with wave heights between 4.0 to 4.5m is expected between

   Cannon Rocks and East London on Friday morning.

CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : Variable 05 to 10.

VIS      : Good but very poor in fog between Torra Bay and Walvis Bay at

           first.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with S to SW swell.







WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15 south of Luderitz at first, otherwise N to NW 05

           to 10.

VIS      : Good, but very poor in fog between Walvis Bay and Luderitz

           at first and again from the second half of the period spreading

           to Alexander Bay by the end of the period.

SEA STATE: 2.0m, with S to SW swell.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : SE 10 to 20 at first, becoming N to NE 10 to 20 north of Cape

           Columbine, reaching 25 to 30 between Hondeklip Bay and Lamberts

           Bay from early morning until mid-period, otherwise variable 05 to

           10.

VIS      : Good but very poor in fog between Alaxander Bay and Hondeklip Bay

           by the end of the period.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5 at first, otherwise 2.0 to 2.5m, with S to SW swell,

           but SE swell south Table Bay.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : E to NE 15 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 between Algoa Bay and East

           London. It will become variable 05 to 10 west of Cape St Francis

           towards mid-period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m, reaching 4.0 to 4.5m east of Algoa Bay at first,

           subside to 2.0 to 2.5m west of Cape St Francis toward mid-period

           with E to SE swell becoming NE east of Algoa Bay towards mid-

           period.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : E to SE 10 to 15 north of Richards Bay, otherwise NE 15 to 20

           south of Durban spreading to Richards Bay towards the mid-period

           reaching 25 to 30.

VIS      : Good but moderate in rain and showers between Richards Bay and

           Maputo during the first half of the period.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5 m with S to SW swell becoming NE between East London

           and Durban during the first half of the period.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : SE 10 to 15 in the north-east, otherwise S to SE 15 to 20,

           reaching 25 to 30 in the south.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in the south-west and the

           north.

SEA-STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south, with S to SE swell.
