   and Cape Agulhas from the afternoon, as well as East London and Coffee Bay

   towards the end of the period.



2. Moderate visibility in showers and thundershowers is expected between Cape

   Agulhas and East London from mid-period.

1.Very rough seas with wave heights from 4.0 to 6.0m is expected between George and East London from Thursday morning, spreading to Coffee Bay from the afternoon until Friday (02-03/07/2026).



2.A Gale force W to SW winds 35 to 40 knots is expected between Mossel Bay and East London from Thursday morning, spreading to Durban from the afternoon until Friday (02-03/07/2026).



3.A Strong gale force SW winds of 41 knots is expected between Cape St Francis and Port Alfred on Thursday (02/07/2026).

WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15, becoming SW 05 to 15 from the afternoon.

ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15, becoming W to NW 05 to 15 north of Lamberts Bay

           from mid-morning, but SW 10 to 20 south of Cape Columbine from

           mid-period.

VIS      : Good, becoming moderate in showers and rain south of Cape

           Columbine from the afternoon.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with S to SW swell.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : E to NE 05 to 15 east of Plettenberg Bay at first, otherwise

           variable 05 to 10. It will become W to SW 10 to 20 from mid-

           period, reaching 20 to 30 west of Algoa Bay from the evening,

           spreading to Port Alfred by the end of the period.

VIS      : Moderate in showers and thundershowers from mid-period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with S to SW swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : variable 05 north of Cape Vidal until the morning, otherwise N to

           NE 15 to 25, reaching 30 in places at times.

VIS      : Good, becoming moderate in showers in showers and rain south of

           Coffee Bay towards the end of the period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m, with S to SW swell.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : N to NE 05 to 15 in the south-west, spreading to the west from

           mid-period, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20.
