1. A gale force E to NE wind of 35 knots is expected between Cape St

   Francis and Port St Johns, spreading to Durban by the end of the

   period.



2. Very rough seas with wave heights of 4.0 to 4.5m are expected between

   Plettenberg Bay and Margate.



3. Very poor visibility in fog is expected between Fischersbrunn

   Lambert's Bay, spreading to Cape Point by mid-morning.



4. Moderate visibility in showers is expected in places between Richards

   Bay and Maputo, as well as in the southern and western parts of the

   Mozambique Channel.

CUNENE RIVER TO WALVIS BAY:

WIND     : S to SE 10 to 20.

VIS      : Good.



WALVIS BAY TO ORANGE RIVER:

WIND     : N to NW 05 to 15, but S to SE 05 to 15 north of Fischersbrunn

           spreading to Orange River by the end of the period and

           reaching 25 between Walvis Bay and Fischersbrunn.

VIS      : Good, but very poor in fog between Fischersbrunn and Orange

           River for the first half of the period.



ORANGE RIVER TO CAPE AGULHAS:

WIND     : E to NE 05 to 15, but NW 05 to 15 north of Cape Columbine while

            reaching 20 to 25 between Hondeklip and Saldanha Bay, it will

            spread to Cape Agulhas by mid-morning but 30 at time south of

            Cape Point.

VIS      : Good but very poor in fog between Alexander Bay and Lambert's Bay

            and spreading to Cape Point by mid-morning while clearing form

            the north by mid-period.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 2.5m with S to SW swell but SE swell south of Cape Point

            becoming W to NW by mid-period.



CAPE AGULHAS TO EAST LONDON:

WIND     : E to NE 15 to 25, reaching 30 to 35 between Cape St Francis

           and East London becoming W to SW 15 to 25 between Cape Agulhas

           and Still Bay from mid-period, spreading to Cape St Francis

           towards the end of the period.

VIS      : Good.

SEA STATE: 2.5 to 3.5m, reaching 4.0 to 4.5 between Plettenberg

           Bay and East London, with E to NE swell.



EAST LONDON TO MAPUTO:

WIND     : E to SE 10 to 20 between Mtunzini and Maputo, otherwise NE 15

           to 25, spreading to Sodwana Bay towards the end of the period,

           whilst reaching 30 to 35 between East London and Port St.

           Johns, spreading to Durban by the end of the period.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in places between

           Richards Bay and Maputo.

SEA STATE: 2.0 to 3.0m but 3.5 to 4.5 between East London and Margate

           with S to SE swell, becoming E to NE south of Port Edward from

           mid-period, spreading to Mtunzini by the end of the period.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : S to SE 15 to 25 reaching 30 in the south-east.

VIS      : Good but moderate in showers in the west and south.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the central and southern parts, with S to SE

           swell.
