ST HELENA (15S/30S, 00E/20W):

WIND     : S to SE 05 to 15, reaching 20 at times in the north-west.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and light rain in places in the

           south-east and northern parts.

SEA STATE: 3.0m in the south and south-east, reaching 3.5 to 4.0m towards

           the end of the period, with SW swell.



TRADES (15S/30S, 00E/WEST COAST):

WIND     : SW 05 to 15 in the south, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20, reaching 25

           in the north-east.

VIS      : Good, becoming moderate in showers and rain in the south-west.

TRISTAN (30S/40S, 00E/20W):

WIND     : W to SW 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 in the south, but 35 in the

           south-east. It will become anti-cyclonic 05 to 15 in the north-

           west towards the end of the period.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in light rain and showers in the south-east.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the south, but 6.5 to 7.0m

           in the south-east, with SW swell.



CAPE WEST (30S/40S, 00E/20E):

WIND     : SE 05 to 15 in the extreme north-east during the first half of

           the period, otherwise, W to NW 15 to 25, reaching 30 to 40 in the

           southern parts at times.

VIS      : Good in the extreme north-east, otherwise moderate in showers and

           Rain in places.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, reaching 5.0 to 6.0m in the southern parts, but 7.0

           to 8.0m in the south-west from the morning, with SW swell.



CAPE EAST (32.5S/40S, 20E/50E):

WIND     : Anti-cyclonic 05 to 15 in the east and north-east, otherwise W to

           NW 10 to 20, reaching 30 to 35 in the south-west until in the

           afternoon.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in places in the west and

           southern parts, spreading to the south-east from the morning,

           while clearing in the south.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 3.5m in the west and southern parts, reaching 4.5 to 5.5m

           in the south-west, with SW swell.



DURBAN EAST (32.5S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):

WIND     : S to SW 10 to 20 in the east and south-east, but N to NE 05 to 15

           in the west and south-west, reaching 20 to 25 towards the end of

           the period, otherwise anti-cyclonic 05 to 15.

VIS      : Good, but moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in the

           south-west until in the afternoon.



MOZAMBIQUE CHANNEL:

WIND     : N to NE 05 to 15 in the south-west, otherwise S to SE 10 to 20

           reaching 25 in the south-east at times.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers in places in the northern parts

           until mid-period.



MADAGASCAR EAST (10S/25S, EAST COAST/55E):

WIND     : Variable 05 to 10 in the southern parts, otherwise S to SE 10 to

           20, reaching 25 to 30 in the extreme north-west.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in light rain and showers in places in the

           east and northern parts.

SEA STATE: 3.0m in the northern parts, with S to SE swell.



MARION FORTIES EAST (40S/50S, 35E/50E):

WIND     : W to NW 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 in the south-east at first,

           but 35 to 40 in the west and south-west from late afternoon.

VIS      : Good, but moderate in showers and rain in east until in the

           evening, but poor in snow-showers over the west and south-west

           from the afternoon.

SEA STATE: 3.0 to 4.0m, subsiding in the north and east from mid-period,

           reaching 4.5 to 5.0m in the south-west from mid-period, with SW

           swell.
