.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...



A 999 mb low at 60N 148W tracks inland by Wed afternoon.

The front of a 994 mb low at 53N 160W enters the western Gulf Wed

afternoon. Thu morning the low lifts to 56N 154W at 994 mb, and

dissipates by the afternoon. The front of a 972 mb North Pacific

low sweeps across the Gulf Friday morning, with the low moving

onto Kenai Peninsula at 978 mb by Fri afternoon.
