...RESUSPENDED ASH FROM WESTDAHL AND SHISHALDIN VOLCANOES...



Strong northerly winds in the vicinity of Westdahl Volcano and

Shishaldin Volcano have picked up loose volcanic ash and dust on

the surface and are carrying it south-southwest over the coastal

waters southwest of Unimak Island. Trace amounts of ashfall are

possible for any marine vessels transiting the area. Strong

northerly winds will continue through Monday night before

gradually weakening Tuesday morning.
