Mona Passage Southward to 17N...

Coastal Waters of Northwestern Puerto Rico out 10 NM...



* At 446 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,

  capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This strong

  thunderstorm was located the coastal waters of western Puerto Rico,

  just west of Rincon, moving west at 15 knots.



Locations impacted include...

Mona Passage Southward to 17N and Coastal Waters of Northwestern

Puerto Rico out 10 NM.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek

safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
