The areas affected include...

Coastal waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around and

just north of Culebra and Saint John...

Caribbean waters of Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the

coastal waters of Saint Croix...



* At 702 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm, capable of

  producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located

  about 25 nm southeast of Vieques, moving west at 25 knots.



Locations impacted include...

Mainly open waters east of Puerto Rico, around Vieques, and around

and just north of Culebra and Saint John and Caribbean waters of

Puerto Rico from 10 NM to 17N, including the northern coastal waters

of Saint Croix.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek

safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
