.Synopsis...The surface ridge around the N waters will weaken

through midweek as a front approaches and stalls near or over the

far NW waters. The surface ridge will reestablish itself to the

north this weekend.

.REST OF TONIGHT AND TUESDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots

decreasing to 10 to 20 knots Tuesday over the Kauai and Oahu

waters. Seas 6 to 9 feet subsiding to 5 to 7 feet Tuesady. Wave

Detail: East 6 feet at 7 seconds and northwest 3 to 5 feet at 12

seconds. Scattered showers.

.TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY...East southeast winds 5 to 10

knots Kauai and Oahu waters. Elsewhere, east southeast 10 to 20

knots. Seas 4 to 5 feet building to 6 to 9 feet Kauai waters

Thursday. Wave Detail: East southeast 2 to 4 feet at 7 seconds.

Northwest 3 feet at 11 seconds building to 5 to 7 feet at

13 seconds late Thursday. Scattered showers becoming numerous

with isolated thunderstorms late Wednesday night through

Thursday.
