.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure to the S of the waters is expected to

slowly drift NE today through tonight while strengthening. It

will stall Wed to the E of the waters and slowly drift NW

through Sat night. This low is expected to strengthen

significantly with a band of storm force sustained winds

ultimately forming by sometime on Thu and continuing into Fri

morning. It is expected to weaken briefly on Fri, but it expected

strengthen once again later Fri. It will then weaken

significantly Sat and Sat night as it begins to drift NE.

Mariners should consider avoidance plans as this significant

weather system likely impacts most of the region Tue through Thu

night. Please monitor the latest OPC and coastal marine

forecasts.
