.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered S of the area this evening

will build slowly N across the S waters tonight through Wed

night, then weaken and drift E Thu into Fri night while

maintaining a ridge axis across the area. A weakening stationary

front over the northern Gulf of Maine this evening will lift N of

the area as a warm front later tonight into Wed. A cold front

will approach from the NW Fri, then stall along the coast Fri

night. Low pressure will form along the stalled front and pull a

cold front across the waters Fri night into Sat night. A

secondary cold front will closely follow Sat into Sun, then move

E of the region Sun night.
