.SYNOPSIS...Intensifying low pressure over the S waters will

track NE across the S portion today, then move E of the N waters

tonight into early Wed. Strong counterflow to the Gulf Stream

will create the potential for steep breaking waves. Another low

will develop near the SE coast today, then drift N along the

coast tonight through Fri while pulling a strong cold front

across the area. A series of low pressure troughs or secondary

cold fronts will move E across the N portion Fri night into Sat

night. High pressure will build over the S and central areas Sat,

then expand NE Sat night. Hurricane Melissa will pass E of the
