Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. ...Please refer to Coastal Waters Forecasts (CWF) available through NOAA Weather Radio and other means for detailed coastal waters forecasts... .SYNOPSIS...To the N, several surface troughs will move SE across the N and central waters through early Sat, with high pressure building in across the N and central areas Sat from inland. Developing low pressure will be along a nearly stalled front tonight over the southern areas, and drift NE into the central areas early Sat while rapidly intensifying over the central and S areas of the waters through Sat night and expanding quickly across the remainder of the waters. The intense low will move NE Sat night through Sun, being centered S of Nova Scotia late Sun night and approaching Newfoundland Mon. Another series of surface troughs will move S across the waters behind the low Mon and Mon night, continuing over the N waters through Tue night. High pressure will gradually build E over the waters later Mon night into Tue, then E of the area Tue night. A stationary front is expected to develop along the SE coast Tue night with weak low pressure developing along the front and moving E and NE across the central and S waters. Mariners should be prepared for the rapidly changing conditions with intensifying low over the S waters and remainder of the waters later tonight through Sat and beyond, and be ready to execute avoidance plans from this powerful low pressure system.
