.SYNOPSIS...With high pressure building over the S waters, a cold

front moves into the N waters today and becomes stationary. The

front will move back N as a warm front later today and tonight. A

surface trough develops along and near the coast by tonight in

advance of a cold front. The cold front will move into the N

waters early Wed, reaching areas offshore of the mid-Atlantic Wed

night, and stalling off of the N Carolina coast Thu. High

pressure builds over the N waters behind the front. As the high

moves E Thu night, the front moves back N as a warm front, moving

N of the waters Fri. A strong cold front approaches the waters

late Fri, sweeping SE over the area Fri night and Sat. High

pressure builds over the S waters behind the front Sat and Sat

night. To the N, S of broad low pressure over SE Canada, a series

of surface troughs and secondary fronts move SE through the N

waters Sat and Sat night. Mariners should monitor forecasts

throughout the week, with the potential for widespread hazardous

conditions possible late Fri into the weekend, especially over N

and central areas.
