.SYNOPSIS...A trough extends from the Florida Straits to 1012 mb

low pressure centered near 24N85W to just north of the Yucatan

Peninsula. The low pressure and trough will drift slowly

eastward and out of the basin through Thu. High pressure

building over the eastern U.S. will support fresh to strong NE

winds and rough seas across the northeast Gulf into Fri. Looking

ahead, this pattern will maintain moderate to fresh E to SE

winds and moderate seas across the basin, except for occasional

strong E winds off western Cuba early next week.

showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...A slow-moving cold front extends from 1012 mb low

pressure southwest of Bermuda near 30N70W to the central

Bahamas, where it becomes a trough to the Florida Straits. Winds

to gale force along with rough to very rough seas are ongoing

west of the front. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are active

east of the  front to 65W. Winds and seas diminish through Fri

as the front drifts eastward and dissipates, although large NE

swell will persist between the central Bahamas and Bermuda

through Sat.



.TONIGHT...E winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 25 to 30 kt

N of 27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers and

isolated tstms.

.THU...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 20 to 25 kt N of

27N. Seas 6 to 9 ft. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.

.THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE to E

20 to 25 kt N of 27N. Seas 6 to 8 ft.
