.SYNOPSIS...Light to gentle winds and slight to moderate seas

will become gentle to moderate SE winds across the basin tonight

and prevail through Tue night as high pressure builds over the

southeast U.S. Looking ahead, expect moderate to fresh winds and

building seas over mostly the western Gulf starting midweek, as

the high pressure shifts eastward ahead of a cold front moving

through the Southern Plains and approaching the northwest Gulf

by late Fri.



.TODAY...W to NW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to SE in the

afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated

tstms.

.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

showers and isolated tstms.

.SYNOPSIS...Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms

persist along a trough reaching from 29N68W to the central

Bahamas offshore waters. A dissipating stationary front is W of

the trough, reaching from 31N68W to Andros Island. Moderate SW

winds and moderate seas ahead of the front will continue to

diminish today. Looking ahead, high pressure will build north of

the area supporting moderate to fresh E winds and 3-5 ft seas

south of 25N by midweek.



.TODAY...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 5 to 10 kt N

of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

.TONIGHT...S winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N of

27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
