.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front will extend off the SE coast

today. Low pressure is expected to form along the front over the

waters later today, and drift NE tonight and rapidly intensify

and expanding in areal coverage off the SE coast and expand

across the northern areas Sat and Sat night. The intense low

only gradually moves NE Sat night through Sun, being centered S

of Nova Scotia late Sun night and approaching Newfoundland Mon. A

cold front sweeps E over the area behind the low Sat and Sat

night, then a series of surface troughs will move S across the

waters behind the low Mon and Mon night. High pressure gradually

builds E over the waters Tue and Tue night. Mariners should

monitor the forecasts for Sat and beyond, preparing to execute

avoidance plans from the powerful low pressure system.
