.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge extends W over the waters

through tonight. A cold front approaches from the NW and N later

tonight, becoming stationary over or near the far N waters by

Sat. Low pressure moves off of the Carolina coast Sat night, with

the low broadening and strengthening as it moves slowly NE off

of the East Coast Sun through Mon. Behind the low, a cold front

will move SE through the area Sun and Sun night. Mariners should

monitor later forecasts for possible avoidance needs. A series of

surface troughs move across the waters Mon and Mon night. High

pressure builds over the waters Tue and Tue night, then shifts E

Wed and Wed night ahead of the next approaching cold front.
