.SYNOPSIS...A trough along the entire California coast will

persist today through Wed night, as strong surface ridging

remains anchored W of the waters. On Wed night the ridge will

move a bit more to the E towards the northern waters, then remain

in place just W of the northern waters Thu through Sat. As a

result, the trough will persist along the N California Coast Thu

through Sat but gradually weaken along the central and S

California coastline through that time. Any tropical activity

will remain well S of the area.
