.SYNOPSIS...A trough will persist along the California coast or

just inland through Fri night. A weak trough will develop along

the S California coast Wed night and persist through Fri night.

High pressure will gradually drift SW from the southern Gulf of

Alaska to the central North Pacific today through Sat night. The

remnants of Tropical Storm Elida will approach the outer southern

waters from the SW later today into tonight. The system will then

drift E into the central waters and dissipate Wed into Wed night.
