  Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel...

  Chesapeake Bay from New Point Comfort to Little Creek VA...

  James River from JRB to HRBT, Including the Elizabeth River...



At 952 PM EDT, a marine weather observations reported a wind shift

associated with a frontal boundary crossing the area, producing

winds to around 25 knots. This front was located near Thimble

Shoals, moving south at 20 knots.  These gusty northerly winds

should last for the next couple of hours and then diminish to around

10 kt overnight.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until this storm passes.
