  Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank

  National Marine Sanctuary...

  Massachusetts Bay and Ipswich Bay...

  Ocean Waters from the Merrimack River to Plymouth from 40 to 60

  NM...



At 603 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable

of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located

near Sandy Bay, moving southeast at 20 knots.



Locations impacted include...

Eastern Point Ma, Jeffreys Ledge Buoy 44098, The Coastal Waters East

Of Cape Ann, Sandy Bay, Ipswich Bay, and Thatcher Island.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...briefly rough seas and

lightning strikes. Consider heading for safe harbor until this storm

passes.



This a strong thunderstorm will produce winds to around 30 knots...

and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A Special Marine Warning

may be issued when this storm reaches the nearshore waters. Boaters

should consider heading for shore before the storm arrives.
