...Strong showers and thunderstorms over distant Florida Straits...



Clusters of strong showers with embedded thunderstorms were located

over the waters 50 to 60 nm south from the Marquesas Keys to the Dry

Tortugas. This activity was moving northwestward at 15 knots. The

stronger cells will produce wind gusts near 30 knots, at times,

occasional lightning strikes, and blinding downpours.
