...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS TO THE NORTHEAST OF THE

MARQUESAS KEYS...



The areas affected include...

Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and

beyond 5 fathoms...

Gulf of America from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal

out to 5 fathoms...

Hawk Channel from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out

to the reef...



At 333 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a a

strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.

This thunderstorm was located near Marquesas Keys, moving west at 10

knots.



Locations that will be affected include...

Ellis Rock Light and Marquesas Keys.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally

rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and

potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as

safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
