Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Craig Key to Halfmoon Shoal

out 20 nm...

Bay and Gulf Side from Craig Key to Halfmoon Shoal out to 5

fathoms...

Florida Bay including Barnes Sound, Blackwater Sound, and Buttonwood

Sound...



At 145 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a

strong thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts near 30 knots.

These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near

Sprigger Bank Light to near American Shoal Light, moving northeast at

10 knots.



Locations that will be affected include...

Big Pine Shoal, Annette Key, Dump Keys, Howe Key, Bonefish Tower,

Mosquito Point, and Ninefoot Shoal.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally

rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and

potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as

safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
