...A GUST FRONT APPROACHING THE WATERS...



The areas affected include...

  Coastal waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 NM...

  Tampa Bay waters...

  Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM...



At 601 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a gust front, capable of

producing winds to around 30 knots. This gust front was located along

a line extending from 21 nm east of Hillsborough Bay to 6 nm east of

Tampa Bay to 8 nm southwest of Longboat Key, moving west at 25 knots.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher

waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor

immediately until these storms pass.
