At 219 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from Central Dauphin Island to 12 nm southwest of Farewell

Buoy to 28 nm southeast of Chandeleur Sound, moving southeast at 20

knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and

         suddenly higher waves.



Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.

Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move

to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
