At 238 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River to 6 nm south of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port to 31 nm southeast of Timbalier Island, moving northwest at 10 knots.
