The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Outer waters from Manasquan Inlet to Little Egg Inlet NJ from 20 to

  60 nm...



* Until 400 PM EDT.



* At 255 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 32 nm southeast of Barnegat Light Reef to 15 nm

  southeast of Garden State North Reef, moving southeast at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and large hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and

           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in

           structural damage.



* The severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
