* Special Marine Warning for...

  Waters from Edisto Beach SC to Savannah GA extending from 20 to 40

  NM...

  Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA from 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 745 PM EDT.



* At 552 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line from

  15 NM southeast of Hunting Island Reef to 12 NM southwest of R2

  Tower, moving east at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 34 knots.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds

           and suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  R7 Tower, R2 Tower and Edisto Offshore Reef.
