The National Weather Service in Ruskin has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Waters from Tarpon Springs to Suwannee River FL out 20 to 60 NM...



* Until 600 AM EDT.



* At 456 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 54 nm southwest of Cedar Key to 48 nm west of Port

  Richey to 34 nm west of Anclote Key, moving north at 20 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher

           waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure

           all on board are wearing life jackets.



* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
