  Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas...



* Until 300 PM CDT.



* At 215 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 nm north of

  Kenner, moving east at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.



  SOURCE...Radar.



  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and

           suddenly higher waves.



* Locations impacted include...

  Kenner and Orleans Marina.

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
