STORM FORCE WIND WARNING 7 FOR WESTERN AND SOUTHERN AREAS



SITUATION AT 080600UTC

Vigorous flow associated with cold front approaching area from the west

forecast near 44S076E 54S078E at 081200UTC, then 45S081E 52S088E to low 961hPa

near 56S084E at 081800UTC, 45S088E 53S096E to low 957hPa near 57S089E at

090000UTC, and 45S095E 54S103E to low 959hPa near 57S095E at 090600UTC.



AREA AFFECTED

Bounded by 57S107E 44S105E 43S080E 58S080E 57S107E.



FORECAST

Northwesterly quarter winds 34/47 knots developing within 360nm east of front,

shifting westerly quarter winds west of front from 081200UTC. Winds increasing

to 45/55 knots within 180nm of the northwestern quadrant of low from 081800UTC.

Very rough to high seas, rising to very high in storm force winds. Moderate to

heavy swell.
