Vigorous flow associated with low 999hPa near 27S162E. Forecast low 998hPa near

27S163E at 221800UTC, low 999hPa near 27S163E at 230000UTC, and low 999hPa near

27S163E at 230000UTC, then decaying thereafter.



AREA AFFECTED

Bounded by 34S158E 34S167E 30S170E 30S166E 25S153E 30S153E 34S158E.



FORECAST

Clockwise winds 30/40 knots within 480nm of low in southwestern semicircle,

contracting to 420nm of low in southwestern semicircle by 221800UTC. WInds

easing below 34 knots throughout by 230300UTC. Rough to very rough seas.

Moderate to heavy swell.
