SITUATION AT 260000UTC

Vigorous flow associated with a low 986hPa near 40S135E. Forecast low 984hPa

near 41S139E at 260600UTC, low 994hPa near 42S142E at 261200UTC, low 997hPa

near 41S144E at 261800UTC, weakening thereafter.



AREA AFFECTED

Bounded by 32S136E 40S143E 48S131E 42S124E 37S123E 32S132E 32S136E.



FORECAST

Clockwise winds 34/45 knots within 660nm of low in all quadrants except

southeast, increasing to 34/47 knots within 300nm of low in the northern

quadrant until 260600UTC. Winds easing below 34 knots throughout by 261800UTC.

Rough to very rough seas, rising to high seas with stronger winds. Moderate to

heavy swell.
