SITUATION At 1200 UTC Tropical Cyclone Jenna was centred within 20 nautical miles of latitude thirteen decimal three south (13.3S) longitude ninety six decimal seven east (96.7E) Recent movement : south southwest at 13 knots Maximum winds : 50 knots Central pressure: 990 hPa AREA AFFECTED Within 90 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 110 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 100 nautical miles in SW quadrant and within 80 nautical miles in NW quadrant. FORECAST Maximum winds to 50 knots near the centre increasing to 70 knots by 1200 UTC 06 January. Winds above 64 knots within 25 nautical miles in SE and SW quadrants from 0600 UTC 06 January with very high seas. Winds above 48 knots within 50 nautical miles near the centre with very rough seas and moderate swell.
